OUR CORE SERVICES
Windsor Fire Protection District is committed to providing superior emergency and nonemergency services to the community of Windsor. In fulfilling our mission, the following services are provided in a progressive and professional manner:

Fire Prevention 
We provide fire prevention inspections, preincident planning, enforcement of the Uniform Fire Code, National Fire Prevention Association guidelines, and the Uniform Building Code, and we provide community education in fire and life safety.

Fire Suppression, Rescue, Property Conservation 
We provide rapid response and effective fire suppression, rescue, and property conservation services with the goal of reducing the impact of an emergency.

Emergency Medical Services 
We provide emergency medical services, working closely and effectively with local ambulance companies to provide total prehospital patient care.

Disaster Planning and Response 
We maintain an emergency operations center, and we plan for and manage disasters.

Emergency Services Involvement 
We are an active member of the emergency services community, attending and supporting the fire chiefs' association, fire prevention officers' association, the training officers' association, the arson task force, participating in mutual and automatic aid agreements, etc.

Customer Service 
We embrace total customer service concepts: Regard everyone as a customer, every situation as a service opportunity-always considering what we do and how it looks to others. We develop and maintain organizational behaviors that are customer centered, and continually work to improve our service delivery and overall customer service performance.

We, as a team of highly skilled, devoted, and motivated volunteer and paid fire service professionals, provide these services in a well planned, cost-effective, efficient, and professional manner through the best use of people, facilities, equipment, and training.
