BOARD OF DIRECTORS
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
April 21, 2009
The Board of Directors of the Windsor Fire Protection District
convened at Station 1, 8200 Old Redwood Highway, Windsor,
California, on Tuesday, April 21, 2009.
CALL TO ORDER: President McDowell called the meeting to order at
6:01 pm.
DIRECTORS PRESENT: Brolan, Doherty, McDowell, Nelson (6:05), Pozzi
STAFF PRESENT: Ron Collier, Clerk of the Board; Mr. Arnone, District
Counsel
PLEDGE OF ALLIEGANCE
CHANGES TO THE AGENDA: None
CITIZEN PUBLIC APPEARANCE: None
APPROVE MINUTES: 2009-04-01 A motion to approve the minutes of the
March 17, 2009, regular meeting was made by Director Doherty and
seconded by Director Pozzi. 4/0/1 (absent)
CORRESPONDENCE: 2009-04-02 Monthly payment statement and
miscellaneous correspondence were reviewed.
INFORMATION ITEM: 2009-04-03 Director Doherty reported on the
California Fire Districts Association he attended.
BOARD COMMITTEE REPORTS
• Budget Committee: Met with Chief Collier regarding preliminary
budget.
• Labor Negotiations Committee: Report in closed session.
DISTRICT COUNSEL REPORT: Will report in closed session.
OPERATIONS REPORT: Chief Collier presented the operations report.
DIRECTOR COMMENTS/REPORTS: None
ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION: 6:36 PM
RETURN FROM CLOSED SESSION: 6:47 PM Mr. Arnone reported no action
taken.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business before the Board, on a
motion by Director Pozzi, seconded by Director Brolan, and
unanimously approved, the Board adjourned at 6:47 pm.
NEXT REGULAR BOARD MEETING: Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at 6:00 pm.
